Our Team

Since gaining her PhD at Kings College London, Nikki has accumulated over 20 years of experience working within the research and welfare community within the UK, Europe and beyond.

 

During this time she worked with academic, commercial, regulatory and non-governmental organisations to promote best practice and support its implementation through education, training, ethical and peer review plus policy work.

 

Nikki understands that mindset impacts not just personal effectiveness, but also our ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with others. She became a Mindset Practice Licensed Practitioner to help raise awareness of the importance of mindset and to deliver mindset training that empowers individuals to fulfil their potential. Nikki is a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), as well as the ALDinHE (Association for Learning Development in Higher Education), ISTT (International Society for Transgenic Technology) and LASA (Laboratory Animal Science Association). She is also a UKRIO (UK Research Integrity Office) voluntary advisor and an Associate Editor for the journal ATLA.

    this request, we will require the following information:

    • A contact name and email address for the invoice to be sent to (if different)

    • Organisational postal address

    • Purchase order number (if required by your organisation)

  • Yes. We deliver all our services in-person for client organizations. Please get in touch to
    arrange a call to discuss your requirements.

  • To access our webinars on-demand you will need to enter a valid email address and
    payment details before the recording will start.

  • No. The system does not allow for the webinars to be downloaded. It is therefore
    recommended that individuals only register and start the on-demand webinar when they are
    able to complete it without significant interruption.

  • Yes. Please email your certificate request to admin@mindsetaction.co.uk. To validate your
    attendance and issue your certificate we will require the following details:

    • Full name (as you wish it to appear on the certificate)

    • Name of webinar attended

    • Date of attendance/completion

Beatrice Waters

Research Administrator

Bea trained as a research technician at Ciba, Basel (Switzerland), specialising in molecular and cell biology. After moving to the UK in 1996, Bea accumulated over 14 years of experience working as a research scientist within the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition to her lab-based role in drug discovery, Bea has worked as a lab manager, radiation protection supervisor and research student supervisor.

Bea joined Responsible Research in 2022 as a Research Administrator and is passionate about supporting researcher development.
